Review of Wooden Toy Shop Carpenter Set

This BigJigs Junior Carpenter Set (36months+) was sent to us by Wooden Toy Shop for review. I’ve always loved wooden toys much better than plastic ones from an environmental view point rather than anything else.

When the box arrived on Saturday morning, Buddy opened the box and shouted ‘Daddy, wow! look!’ I think that was all I needed to hear to realise that this toolbox was going to be a hit. The toys are very sturdy and there is everything you can think of in there. The wooden toolbox that it comes in is lovely and Buddy even took it to Grandma’s house on Monday to play with, he was so proud of it.

Fixing the door

As you can see from the pictures below, Buddy has had a ball playing with this and I’d definitely recommend it as a nice to have gift for a young boy. It’s under £20 too, so great value for money.

The only downside is that there is not a template on the box to show you where the pieces go to put

back. Although as G Man said, this is probably part of the fun for little ones, but not for a Virgonian pregnant woman trying to tidy up after a toddler 😉
